Dear Casa Monica …
A quick note of thanks for arranging our recent visit to the Casa Monica Hotel. We absolutely LOVED it -- it is a very special property. The staff was outstanding, the room delightful and the pool a big hit with our seven-year-old. And! I'd swear the croissants in Cafe Cordova are better than what I've had in Paris (which says a lot). All told, I was charmed by St. Augustine and I think a big part of that was having the Casa Monica as our toe-hold in town. Also wanted to mention that we took advantage of the hotel's reciprocity at the Serenata Beach Club and thought it an amazing perk -- the beach was gorgeous. My only regret was that we didn't have more time in St. Augustine.

Hi Everyone, I just wanted to thank you for making the show a huge success. My staff and I had a great time in St. Augustine and also working with each one of you through out the filming process. I will never be able to convey how I feel about you. I knew everything would be fine but I was not prepared for your commitment to making (my daughter's) wedding perfect. Thank you for placing Walter with our family as well. ... So many times thru out the night, I was made aware of your presences as well as Walter's. This was done with the greatest of finesse. I saw the attention to detail that was given to this one occasion that meant so much to me. Knowing you were close by was such a gift. I honestly had no idea how precise and professional your team could be. Your staff was loving and accommodating. It was an honor to work with you. I hope you will know I will keep you in my heart all my life. Very seldom do we meet people who honor their commitment. You far exceeded with providing my daughter with a celebration of a lifetime. I can't thank the two of you enough for all you did to facilitate an outstanding and extremely successful event for our annual Hargrave Owners' Rendezvous. When my associate Karen and I first arrived to conduct our sight inspection last summer, we were extremely impressed not only by the Casa Monica hotel's beauty, history and charm but by the attention Kym immediately gave us. You made us feel as if we were the only clients you had at that moment, and that we had all of your undivided attention. I knew full well that you host several large events and conferences, and that Hargrave was one of many, but that completely contradicted the personal attention and customer service we received from the moment we arrived. And as the months passed and the event planning took place, you never once let that feeling waiver. I knew you both were juggling several events at once, but each time I needed you, you were there immediately with an answer. That kind of customer service is hard to find and I want you both to know how much I appreciate it. When I found out you had a staff change and Alice Jenkins joined your staff, I was a little concerned about the change and hoped I wouldn't have to start over again from the beginning. Alice, you stepped in and didn't miss a beat. Your high energy and warm personality immediately put me at ease. Your suggestions on menus and your attention to details were extremely helpful to me. You were there personally at each of our events and made sure everything was perfect. The hotel accommodations were great, the food superb, and the service from housekeeping, the wait staff, banquet staff, bar staff, etc. was top notch. Please pass along my thanks to everyone who had anything at all to do with our event. My clients had a wonderful time and that makes my job a success, thanks to you. I can't wait to come back again with my family and enjoy the hospitality of the Casa Monica on a smaller scale. I have no doubt that again, I will feel as if I am an important guest.

My wife and I had a fabulous wedding reception poolside at the Casa Monica. Since then we have had countless compliments from our guests saying it was the best wedding they have ever been to. We would not change a thing - the facility, the food, the service and the people were all top notch! Through our wedding planning process, we looked at several properties on par with the Casa Monica. What set you apart from them were the people at your property, in particular Erin Poticny. From our first meeting, we felt like we were working with an old friend. We felt that the words no and we can't do that didn't exist in Erin's world. Whatever the request was, she would make it happen for us. We can't thank her and the rest of the folks there enough!

I enjoyed planning the wedding with you and appreciate you answering all my emails and requests. The ballroom looked amazing - you did a great job placing all the different elements and the blue lights. Everyone loved those lights, especially the one behind the cake! The food was great too and the service excellent. I only got one chance to interact with the bartender, but it was enough to understand why everyone seemed to have loved his personality. Also the concierge was great too and found an excellent solution for shipping my dress! What else can we say? We brought back to Virginia the most wonderful memories of a beautiful and fun wedding that could not have taken place in a better location than beautiful St. Augustine and the Casa Monica Hotel. Today is my first day back in the office after the Wonca meetings and our own Scientific Assembly in Orlando. What a busy two weeks!! Attached for your info is a message from Dr. Loh indicating his appreciation for the Casa Monica. I believe he speaks for all of us. I owe a profound thank you to all of the Casa Monica staff for the fantastic service during the Wonca Executive Meeting. Gina was especially helpful in all of the advance planning and in having everything in order for us. Chris Stone did an excellent job when we were on site and was wonderful to work with. He handled the pop up requests in such a good manner. I personally enjoyed being at the Casa Monica. It was a quiet haven to relax and enjoy a bit of pampering before heading to Orlando for the huge convention. Trust me ... I longed for that bit of personal attention and smooth responsiveness once I landed in Orlando!! Our final numbers for overall total registration came to 20,733 peoples (Wonca and AAFP registrants, guests, exhibitors, etc.) Thanks again to you and all of the Casa Monica staff for taking such good care of these special guests. I hope I have an opportunity in the future to place other meetings with you.

I would like to personally thank all of you and your entire staff for the smoothest, most successful Planning Conference we have ever had. Our Board of Directors and Senior Management were extremely complimentary of the hotel staff. The dinner at 95 Cordova was fabulous. The buffet dinner at the museum Thursday evening was also wonderful, our compliments to your Chef. You guys are top notch in my book and we look forward to seeing you again in the future. The rooms were beautiful and everyone felt like royalty. Everyone especially loved the tray of goodies waiting on them in their rooms when they arrived. The breakfast each morning was terrific, please tell Barbara thanks from all of us. We truly felt special during our entire stay. Jeremy, the hospitality suite was great, they all loved the fact that the door remained opened so they didn’t have to worry about a key so it worked out excellent. All in all I will say again, a huge thank you to each one of you for making my job easy. I did not have to worry about a thing. Hats off to the Casa Monica for an extremely wonderful event.
